Account Requirements

To use our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• • You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• • You must not be prohibited from using our Services under applicable laws
• • You must provide valid identification and contact information

Account Security

You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

Tax and Legal Compliance

As independent business operators, you are solely responsible for:

• • Determining and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes
• • Registering for sales tax collection in jurisdictions where required
• • Filing all required tax returns (including self-employment/1099 income)
• • Maintaining appropriate business insurance and liability coverage
• • Complying with all applicable safety, environmental, and operational regulations
• • Keeping accurate records for tax and business purposes
• • Using Stripe Tax tools to help automate tax calculation and collection (see our Stripe Tax guide)

Guy & A Bot™ has no tax liability for your business operations. We provide payment processing tools and facilitate connections, but all tax compliance is your responsibility as an independent business operator.

Equipment Standards

Operators must ensure that all listed equipment meets the following requirements:

• • Equipment must be in safe, working condition
• • All safety certifications and documentation must be current
• • Equipment descriptions must be accurate and complete
• • Operators must maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• • Equipment must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Service Obligations

Operators are responsible for providing services as described in their listings, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and operational requirements.

Booking Process

All bookings create a direct service agreement between the Renter and the independent Operator. Guy & A Bot™ simply facilitates the booking process. Payment authorization may be required at the time of booking. Final charges will be processed according to the agreed terms.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms are set by individual independent Operators and displayed in their listings. Cancellations must be made through the Platform. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the specific cancellation policy of the Operator.

Payment Processing and Taxes

All payments are processed through our secure Stripe payment system. We use Stripe Tax to automatically calculate and collect applicable sales taxes based on customer location. The Operator (not Guy & A Bot™) is responsible for all tax remittance and compliance.

• • Platform fees are charged to facilitate the connection and payment processing
• • Sales tax is automatically calculated based on customer location (powered by Stripe Tax)
• • Tax amounts are clearly displayed before payment confirmation
• • Operators receive detailed transaction breakdowns including tax collected
• • Operators are responsible for remitting collected taxes to appropriate authorities
• • We may charge additional fees for payment processing or currency conversion as disclosed at transaction time

Refund Policy

Refund policies are set by individual Operators and must be clearly disclosed in their listings. When refunds are processed:

• • Taxes collected are automatically refunded proportionally
• • Platform fees may be refunded according to the refund policy
• • Refund processing typically takes 5-10 business days
• • All refunds must be requested through the Platform

User Responsibility

Users acknowledge that the use of robotic equipment involves inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for evaluating the suitability and safety of any equipment or services before use.

Our Rights

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names displayed on the Platform are our property or the property of their respective owners.

User Content

By submitting content to our Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content in connection with our Services.

Terms Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email. Continued use of our Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Service Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Organization].
